GIFT OF LIFE

What are we friends, after

Our Breath has Left Us, Our Hearts stop Beating?

We are merely just flesh & bones,

Which are ritually given away to Earth;

Only Memories remain with the Loved ones,

Which forever can be Preserved.

A Wonderful and Meaningful Gesture would be such,

That a part of Us Comes as a Boon to someone whose Right to Live

Fully has been snatched away;

What more Meaningful than our organs being used to,

Put Light in someones Eyes,

A Heart that can Beat in other’s,

And Forever be Alive;

A Life being Useful is Great,

But Greater is the person who is useful even after Life.
